CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
At Good News Community Centre, we believe that while these children may live in a third world country, they are first world people, in God’s eyes and in our eyes. We have hope that if we can give the children opportunities to education and a healthy life that they can have a future that breaks the poverty chain in Kenya.
For only $35 a month, you can help change the future of a child by providing for their education, health and food assistance. Having these children enrolled in the sponsorship program also give them an opportunity to be discipled by our leadership team. Ministering to orphans builds bridges for ministering to their relatives and the community.
Children in the sponsorship program are held to a high standard as GNCC team strive to disciple them through your sponsorship. They are accountable to maintain good grades, be involved in a Christian community, show Christ-like behavior, give back to their community and attend camps and retreats. It is our priority that they receive the Word of God and continue to grow in their faith.
Of the orphans we are caring for through Sponsorship Program, 4 are now in colleges, 3 are in Tech. training, 2 are waiting for college, 20 are in secondary, 5 are in the Good News Migwena Academy and the rest are in other primary schools. The sponsorship program for orphans is working very well, so we would love to see more orphans sponsored. A total of 68 kids being sponsored.
